Marina di Sibari,
close to the sea, and surrounded by a deep green pinewood framing
a delightful natural small lake, lies the Village Club Baia
degli Achei, a large and comfortable accommodation complex made
up of 141 terraced maisonettes (sleeping two, three or four
people), all en-suite and fitted with air-conditioning, telephone,
TV and, on request, fridge bar. The restaurant, providing buffet
service, serves a wide range of dishes, also with menus specially
suited to the younger guests. Guests can also take advantage
of the two bars, located in strategic positions, one near the
swimming pools, the other on the beach. |

are many facilities: private internal car park, concert area,
discotheque situated between the pinewood and the sea, children's
playground in the pinewood, boutique, newsagent's and tobacconist's,
safety deposit and on request, welcome for small pets; also
available to guests on payment, there is a transfer service
from/to the main stations and airports, and a doctor's surgery
with established timetable. The Village Club Baia degli Achei
also offers 3 swimming pools (for adults, for children and
with whirlpool bath), where there is also the chance to practise
water gymnastics.

| Just
200/300 metres from the maisonettes there is a wide sandy beach
- equipped with beach umbrellas and deck chairs - where sports
like canoeing, windsurfing, sailing and beach-volleyball can
be practised. Also many other sports are available - thanks
to the recently-built sports facilities in the pinewood - at
the Village Club including gymnastics, aerobics, tennis (evening
matches on payment), 5-a-side football, basketball, volleyball,
archery, mountain biking (on hire in the hotel itself), angling
in the small lake, on payment, excursions. An expert team of
animators also enlivens any stay taken in the summer season
- both in the daytime with games and tourneys as well as group
courses in all the sports practised, and in the evening, with
shows, cabaret and piano bar. Finally, special attention is
paid to the younger guests with the Kiddies Club (4-8 years
old), the Junior Club (9-12years old), as well as the purpose-built
playground laid out in the pinewood..
