At Guardavalle Marina, not far from the enchanting bay of Soverato, stands the Faro Punta Stilo camping village, that takes its name from the fascinating stretch of the Ionian coast of the Province of Catanzaro where it is located. Standing right by the sea, beyond a lovely, wide sandy beach, the complex extends over an area of 30,000 sq. m, completely framed by trees and flowers. The accommodation is varied, spreading out on suitably equipped areas and only a short distance from the bar, restaurant, market and beach: there are 32 one, two and three-bedroom masonry-built terraced maisonettes, 20 one-bedroom wooden bungalows ; all the accommodation is fully-furnished with bathroom and hot water shower, cooking area, pots and pans, and veranda, bed linen can also be hired.

Independent of the village area is the camp-site, made up of 180 berths of about 40 sq. m, bounded and shaded by tall and medium-height trees, above all poplars, and completely served with electric energy. The camping area is on level grass with beaten earth berths, the sanitary services in a tiled interior masonry building with hot and cold showers and drinking water supplied throughout the site. There are many services to ensure guests a comfortable stay in the village: a restaurant, bar, market, snack bar, pizzeria by the sea, butcher’s, newsagent’s, greengrocer’s, laundry, meeting room, bazaar, tobacconist’s, open-air discotheque, children’s playground, and beach service.

There are many sports facilities available including a 25 x 16 m swimming pool, illuminated tennis courts, five-a-side pitches, volleyball and basketball courts, bowls, mini-golf, tennis and swimming coaching, horse-riding lessons, and rowing boats.
