The
camping Village Mimosa, located only 4 km. from Nicotera
Marina, on the fascinating Vibo
Valentia coastline, is one of the most modern

The
village, a genuine oasis of peace and quiet, is set in the
scented shade of the lush Mediterranean maquis, where pines,
eucalyptus, mimosa and oranges grow. The Mimosa is completely
self-sufficient, since it boasts the most modern facilities
and has lovely masonry-built flats, with up to six beds, all
on the ground floor, with a spacious veranda and telephone.
Moreover, the accommodation with kitchen or cooking area,
is completely furnished and equipped with pans, cutlery and
crockery. In addition, the village offers its guests a large
fenced camping area, with custodian at the entrance. The area
is supplied with spacious camping berths provided with electrical
sockets conforming to EU regulations, two groups of sanitary
services, parking, sports facilities, free camper services,
wood-fired barbecue grills, gas bottles and plentiful drinking
water. The village services are modern and efficient: bar,
restaurant, pizzeria, market, bazaar, tobacconist’s,
newsagent’s, games room, crèche and discotheque.

A
stay in the village is entertaining without boring moments:
an expert staff of animators in fact organises games, shows,
sports contests, such as the 5-a-side tournament and group
activities like morning gymnastics in the green setting of
the pine grove or the swimming pool, discreetly involving
guests and creating an informal, friendly and relaxing atmosphere.

In
addition there are many sports facilities and activities that
can be undertaken: swimming, tennis, football, table tennis,
beach volleyball, windsurfing, bowls, canoeing, distributed
throughout the day with free courses for adults and children
in tennis and windsurfing. Finally, there are various tourist
itineraries proposed by the village, both in the direction
of the Vibo Valentia coast, Capo Vaticano and Tropea
are in fact, respectively 30 and 40 km. away, and towards
the magnificent Sila
and Aspromonte
forests, as well as the route to the Aeolian Isles.
