Monsignor della Casa Country Resort constists in typical Tuscan style, recently restored stone-villas with private pool and semi-detached houses, come out from the accurate restoration of an ancient hamlet in the heart of the green Tuscan countryside, only 27 Km far from Florence.
The hamlet enjoys the privilege of being part of a 200 hectares estate in which is situated the 16th c.Renaissance Villa where Monsignore della Casa was born. He was a descendant of the Medici family, auhtor of the popular treaty of good manners "Il Galateo", secretary of the Vatican under Pope Paolo IV and counellor at the court of Elisabeth I of England. Land of art and culture, Mugello was the place of birth of painters like Cimabue and Giotto, whose house is 3 Km far from the estate, and Beato Angelico.
